Hello, this is Matt Soper. I have always been devoted to the Western Slope. This is where I was born, raised, and picked Olathe sweet corn to pay my way through Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.

 

After my Bachelor's degree, I went on to study law and obtained 3 law degrees from the University of Edinburgh and the University of New Hampshire School of Law.  

 

It's time to fight for rural Western Colorado and our way of life from the position of Delta County Commissioner! It has been an honor of a lifetime to represent Western Colorado in the House of Representatives, Delta County needs to be a louder voice in Denver in advancing and defending issues that affect residents of the county.

In the legislature I've been effective at advancing bipartisan, common sense ideas to fight crime, protect our water and farmers, and improve rural access to healthcare. When issues attack our Western Slope, our way of life, or our principals of liberty, my colleagues will tell you there is no fiercer fighter than me.

Now its time to help my home county, by ensuring stability and continuity on the Board of County Commissioners, fighting unfunded mandates from Denver, and providing basics of good roads, a strong private property policy, and devolping an environment for economic success.
